Bennett D. Rainey is a divorce and family law attorney located in Winston Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, focused on addressing the needs of his clients who are facing life-changing legal matters surrounding divorce and family law including child custody and child support, adoptions, post-separation support, alimony, and equitable distribution. 

Bennett also works zealously with clients to resolve family law matters outside of court in mediation, in North Carolina collaborative divorce law proceedings, and by negotiating property settlements and separation agreements.

Bennett attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) on athletic scholarships (in swimming). At UNCW he majored in History and minored in Psychology.

After graduating magna cum laude from UNCW in 2010, Bennett attended Wake Forest University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2013. 

Bennett regularly attends North Carolina Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses covering a host of family law related issues. Bennett is also a trained Winston Salem collaborative divorce lawyer.
